The Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration (DLC), Godfrey Okoye University, recently held an insightful workshop on “Accessing Research Funding and Collaborations” at the Smart Classroom, COB.

The session was facilitated by Meggy Kantert, International Liaison Officer of GOUNI, who shared practical strategies for identifying competitive grants, strengthening academic CVs, and building meaningful international research networks.

In her address, the Director of DLC, Dr. Chidinma A. Okafor, encouraged participants to embrace the directorate’s guiding motto, “GO for Growth,” reminding staff that the university’s global vision begins with proactive engagement and openness to new opportunities.

The workshop ended with a rich interactive discussion that allowed staff to share ideas, ask questions, and explore possible partnerships. A group photograph wrapped up the day’s activities, capturing the energy of a truly productive session.
