International Journal of Communication and Social Sciences (IJCSS)

The International Journal of Communication and Social Sciences (IJCSS), an official publication of Mass Communication Department, Godfrey Okoye Universaity, Enugu, Nigeria, is edited in collaboration with the Dean of Graduate School, Bowie State University, Bowie Maryland, USA. The journal publishes articles and book reviews that examine a broad range of social sciences, but most importantly, issues relevant to communication theory, research practice, policy and methodological approaches, information and communication technology (ICT), development communication paradigms and ethical conducts and standard in journalism and communication. Since the journal seeks to be a general forum for communication scholarship, internationally published, we are especially interested in research whose significance crosses disciplinary and sub-field boundaries such as social sciences.

Manuscript Information: Prospective authors should submit their article to the Associate Editors, International Journal of Communication and Social Sciences, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinkers Corner, Enugu. Submissions should conform to the stylistic guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association – APA (current edition). Email addresses and brief biographical notes on all authors should be provided on a separate page, along with a list of keywords for indexing. There is no pre-set length for manuscripts, although successful submissions generally run no longer than 25 typed pages of text with double-spacing.

Advertising: All correspondents regarding advertising should be sent to International Journal of Communication and Social Sciences c/o George Nzekwe, Associate Editor at the Department of Mass Communication, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinkers Corner, Enugu, Nigeria.

Subscription: Subscription rates are as follows: N5,000 for subscribers in Nigeria and $15 for subscribers in the USA.

Photocopies: Permission to photocopy items in this journal for internal, perusal or use for specific clients is granted by IJCSS Editor-in –Chief provided that the rate of N5 (five naira) per page is paid directly to Mass Communication Department, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinkers Corner, Enugu, Nigeria for copying beyond that permitted by the US Copyright Law. Request for permission to photocopy for other purposes such as general distribution, resale, advertising and promotional purposes or creating new collective works should also be directed to Mass Communication Department, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinkers Corner, Enugu, Nigeria.
