GOUNI 11TH Matriculation Ceremony

The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, in his matriculation speech noted that the new students were pioneer students of the second decade of the University as the institution celebrated its 10 years of existence last year, an event that attracted a mammoth crowd.
He challenged the students to do well  as all they needed for their studies had been provided and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities that would be provided by the GO Uni-European Business Park at the Ugwuomu Campus of the University.

Highlights of the event were  the distribution of the funds raised to help students by Vice Chancellor- for-One Day, Miss Scholastica Chinonso Ogodo, goodwill messages by Prof. Joseph, Chidobem, representing GOUNI Board of Trustees, Mr. Peter Mba, a member of the Governing Council, the Enugu State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Uche Eze, Barr. C. A. Ogbuabor, representing the Chief Justice of Enugu, Justice N. P. Emehelu, former Chief Judge of Anambra state Justice Phillip Umeadi, Chairman GOUNI Parents Forum, Chief Okafor and Jonathan Nsiobong, representing the matriculating students.

Present at the event were the Vice Chancellor, Tansian University, Anambra State, Prof. Eugene Nwadialor, principal officers of GOUNI, members of the GOUNI Alumni Association, parents, academic and administrative staff of GO University, parents and students.
