GOUNI College of Medicine Screens First Batch of Students
The screening of the final batch of students for the College of Medicine, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu takes place on Friday, 11th November, 2022.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke who announced this in Enugu, said the event will be at the Thinkers Corner campus of the institution.
Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke made it clear that there is no cutting corners in the university, stressing that the students must get it right.
The Vice Chancellor reminded the students that they are being trained to save life and should aim at excellence in their studies.
He said the medical students will travel to Kepler University, for further studies and research before they graduate, pointing out that the plan is part of the partnership program of GO-University and Kepler University.
Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke said that modern laboratories and vehicles are being provided for the training and use by the students.
Present during the screening were the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Sister Prof. MarySylvia Nwachukwu, the Provost of the College, Professor Frank Akpuaka, the Deputy Provost, Professor Miriam Unachukwu as well as the Director Students Mentorship and Parents Relation, Lady Jane Ndukwe.
