Honouring Excellence in Entrepreneurial Leadership at Godfrey Okoye University!
We celebrate the remarkable contributions of two trailblazers from the Directorate of Entrepreneurship at Godfrey Okoye University Enugu.
Congratulations to Prof Emmanuel Adinna and Prof. Nick Obodo, former Directors who played pivotal roles in shaping the success of the Directorate and the university.
They were presented with well-deserved plaques, recognizing their dedication to fostering entrepreneurial education and setting the pace for growth.
Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, the Vice Chancellor, highlighted their invaluable contributions and commended the current Director of Entrepreneurship, Mr. Christopher Uwakwe, for his zeal and determination.
In line with nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, the Vice Chancellor awarded a prize of N150,000 to the top three business groups from the 2023 STEP program.
Mr. Uwakwe explained that these awards aim to inspire students, expressing gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for his support and acknowledging the former directors for their service.
The STEP program, designed to equip students with knowledge and skills, saw 300-level students receive over 3 million Naira to kickstart their entrepreneurial ventures.
The event was a momentous occasion witnessed by principal officers, Deans, students, and other university community members. Together, we celebrate a legacy of entrepreneurship and innovation at Godfrey Okoye University!
