Celebrating 24 Years of Priesthood of our Vice-Chancellor!
Today marks 24 years of priesthood for our esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke. Reflecting on this milestone, Father Anieke shared profound insights.
“Priesthood is the Grace of God in abundance and incredible mercy. It is not because of the good a person does as no person deserves to be a priest, but God calls people to be priests for reasons best known to Him,” he expressed.
Father Anieke attributes his journey, including his leadership at Godfrey Okoye University, to God’s grace. “It is unbelievable what God has done, not because I am good but to glorify God,” he stated.
His message to young priests is a reminder that “they did not choose Christ, rather Christ chose them to serve God.”
Looking to the future, Reverend Father Anieke’s ambition is for Godfrey Okoye University to grow and become a strong institution, representing God’s grace in education and serving as a source of empowerment for young people.
We are incredibly blessed to have such a visionary leader guiding our university. Let’s celebrate this remarkable journey and pray for continued grace and blessings.
Congratulations, Father Vice-Chancellor!
