Enhancing Excellence at Godfrey Okoye University!
The introduction of the General Ability Test for our students is a groundbreaking step towards ensuring they excel in national and international interviews for scholarships and travels. Speaking at the Parents Forum Meeting, our Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, emphasized how this initiative has created incredible opportunities for our graduates to secure prestigious scholarships.
He also highlighted the university’s focus on entrepreneurial studies, equipping students with the skills to become job creators. Furthermore, the welfare of staff has been prioritized through income enhancement and a newly introduced pension scheme.
The Vice-Chancellor reassured parents that the management stands firmly against illegal activities, stressing that any unapproved funds collected must be refunded immediately.
In her address, the Director of Student Mentorship and Parent Relations, Lady Jane Ndukwe, commended the students for their dedication to university programs and reaffirmed the Directorate’s mission to foster strong connections between students, parents, and the wider community through mentorship programs and parent forums.
In a show of support, the Chairman of the Parents Forum, Sir Offor Eusebius Chinedu, announced the purchase of a coaster and a mini bus for the university and shared plans to introduce campus shuttles to ease transportation challenges on campus.
We are proud of the collaborative efforts to make Godfrey Okoye University a world-class institution!
