GO UNI WELCOMES NUC ACCREDITATION TEAMS!
The Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, has advised tertiary institutions to view accreditation visits as guiding exercises rather than witch-hunts.
Speaking at the main campus in Ugwuomu-Nike, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke warmly welcomed the National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Teams for the departments of Mass Communication and Biological Sciences, expressing confidence in the success of the exercise.
He highlighted the exceptional performance of Mass Communication graduates in organizations worldwide and proudly declared GoUni Radio the best campus radio station in Nigeria!
The Vice-Chancellor also shared exciting updates about the DNA Learning Center Nigeria, a groundbreaking partnership with the Enugu State Government. Set to become a Science City, the center will focus on paternity, forensic research, and other scientific advancements, with full operations commencing by July 2025.
“Godfrey Okoye University is more than a university; it is a platform for blessings to its graduates and partners,” he emphasized.
The leaders of the NUC accreditation teams assured the university of their objectivity in carrying out their assignments.
