Preparing Students for Global Excellence!

Godfrey Okoye University Enugu is committed to empowering its graduates to meet global expectations and challenges. This vision was reaffirmed at a seminar on the University’s Computer Competency Programme for final-year students, declared open by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Professor Sergius Udeh, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke.

Professor Udeh highlighted the university’s strategic efforts in designing innovative programmes to ensure students thrive in today’s competitive world. He emphasized that these initiatives are at the core of academic activities, equipping students to excel after graduation.

Delivering a paper on “Global Relevance for Graduates in Our AI World,” the Director of Information and Communication Technology, Mr. Chinedu Chibuzor, inspired students to embrace transparency in their academic pursuits and master AI technologies. According to him, AI proficiency enhances essential skills like data analysis, paving the way for professional success.

The seminar witnessed the active participation of final-year students from all five faculties, marking another step toward creating globally competitive graduates.
