A major milestone in scientific advancement and criminal justice is about to unfold right here in Enugu State.
The board chairman, stakeholders, partners, and management of the Center for DNA Forensics and Criminal Investigation cordially invite the public to its official commissioning.
This is a historic moment. The centre represents a groundbreaking leap forward, standing as the very first specialized university-led hub of its kind in Nigeria and one of only a few highly advanced academic forensic facilities across the entire African continent.
Specialized facilities like this bridge the gap between science and justice, introducing state-of-the-art DNA profiling, forensic science, and molecular biology technologies to dramatically accelerate criminal investigations, resolve complex legal disputes, and provide definitive answers when they matter most.
By utilizing world-class automated equipment, this specialized lab is built to provide rapid, indisputable results right on our own soil, drastically reducing the reliance on sending forensic samples abroad.
