Our talented debaters and dedicated teams brought home several honours, showcasing the skill, creativity, and commitment of our university community.

1. Most Creative & Interesting Debate Team – Team Emerald
2. Best Single Debate Performance – Aguigwo Gerald Somtochukwu (College of Medicine)
3. Student Ambassadorial Award for DebateCoolit – Ebenyi Chinecherem (Faculty of Law)
4. Most Commendable Participation by a School/Institution – Godfrey Okoye University
5. Most Commendable Participation by a School Representative – Mrs. Uchanta Chukwu, our Director of Competitions

7. National Debates Selection
   We’re proud to announce that two of our students from Team Storm—Ebenyi Chinecherem and Adibo Tiffany Chiemelie—have been selected among Enugu’s top 15 debaters. They’ll be representing the state in national debates, carrying the spirit of GoUni forward.
