Meet the Mistresses and Master of Calligraphy: Celebrating the PEN GOLD champions at GoUni’s 16th Matriculation!

Godfrey Okoye University Enugu is committed to nurturing talent and encouraging students to excel through competitions. During the 16th Matriculation Ceremony, the university recognized the winners of the inaugural PEN GOLD competition hosted by the Directorate of Competitions, which celebrated penmanship and calligraphy. This special award presentation marked a new tradition aimed at introducing students to a culture of excellence and hard work.

The winners were:
First Place: Nneoma Akwam (Computer Science) – ₦50,000
Second Place: Agbaghara Christabel Chinonyerem (Nursing Science) – ₦30,000
Third Place: Anawune Michael Jimetochukwu (College of Medicine) – ₦20,000

The Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, presented the prizes and commended the winners for their dedication. He urged all students to seize opportunities to participate in competitions to enhance their knowledge and gain recognition on national and international platforms.

Mrs. Uchanta Chukwu, Director of Competitions, announced the winners and reaffirmed the university’s dedication to supporting students’ personal and professional development.
