OBIH CHOSEN EKENE
GRADUATE ASSISTANT
Mr Chosen Obih is a young scientist who is passionate about research in Plant Science with special interest in Plant Genomics. His objective is to contribute to the realization of food security in Africa and in training the next generation of Plant Scientists in Africa. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Godfrey Okoye University Enugu and is currently pursuing his masters degree in Plant Biotechnology at University of Nigeria, Nsukka as a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholar. Chosen is one teaching assistant that is known for his love of science. His teaching philosophy is using variety of materials and methods to make science fun. As a teacher assistant, he engages students with wet labs, activities and drills for them to understand better. He believes that all students can achieve success as long as they are provided with the opportunity and are willing to work for it.
