Monsignor Prof. Dr. Obiora Ike (July 1 Gospel Reflection)
A priest of the Archdiocese of Enugu, Monsignor Prof. Dr. Obiora Ike is celebrated as one of Nigeria’s most prominent Catholic figures, ethicists, and human rights activists. Currently a professor of ethics and intercultural studies at Godfrey Okoye University, Monsignor Ike is the founder of the Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP) in Enugu and the former head of the international Globethics Foundation in Geneva. His global reflections advocate for a Church that actively engages in society, placing human dignity at its very center.

Representing the Daughters of Divine Love (DDL), Sister Mary Sylvia Nwachukwu serves as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Vice-Rector) of Godfrey Okoye University. In her global broadcast, Sister Mary Sylvia discusses the holistic development of students, the critical role of women in the Church and society, and the unique opportunities driving Catholic educational institutions in Africa today.
