Godfrey Okoye University As Centre for ERYK (Technical Service Provider in Electrical Installations)
Godfrey Okoye University, through its College of Practical Skills and Start-Up Centre under the headship of Alex Muterko of International Centre for Migration Policy Development, has become the centre for the recruitment of electrical workers and other technical staff for training in Poland and other European countries. The training will equip the trainees with best practices and up-to-date know-how in the field of electrical installations and technical services.
Thus our university has indeed become a university on the go, opening doors and windows for our young people to be abreast with the latest in the field of electrical installations and technical services and to be able to work in European companies.
We first organized virtual examinations set by ERYK Poland. After the exams, 7 candidates who passed were invited for a virtual interview (on 9th September 2021 at Godfrey Okoye University), where they were asked various questions. The successful ones will travel to Poland for the training and certification. The training will last two years and the cost of the training, accommodation, feeding, flight and insurance will be taken care of by ERYK.
This is the Godfrey Okoye University answer to the scary question of unemployment of youths in Nigeria. Congratulations to you Alex Muterko and your team! Congratulations to our university management!
