Godfrey Okoye University Enugu has marked another milestone in academic excellence as four outstanding members of staff were honoured for their exemplary contributions to scholarship, leadership, and institutional growth.
Two academic staff were elevated to the prestigious rank of Professor, while two senior Professors were conferred with the highly revered title of Emeritus Professor, recognizing their years of service and profound impact on the university.

- Prof. Christy Oby Onyia – Professor of Biotechnology
- Prof. Goodwill, Azea Engwa – Professor of Biochemistry
Emeritus Professors
- Emeritus Prof. Emmanuel Adinna – Pioneer Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Environmental Studies
- Rev. Msgr. Emeritus Prof. Nicholas I. Omenka – Former Dean, Faculty of Arts
