Godfrey Okoye University Enugu ignites innovation with a 1 million Naira prize for computer science students tackling real-world challenges!
The university has announced a new initiative to encourage innovation and problem-solving among computer science students. The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke has challenged students to develop creative solutions to real-world problems, with a prize of 1 million Naira for the winner!
The challenge includes developing programmes that can:
Eliminate thumbprint detection
Detect human traffic and presence in specific areas of the university
From September, the university is also upgrading its teaching tools to smart boards and projectors, providing students with a more interactive and immersive learning experience. Students will also gain valuable practical experience working with organizations during long vacations.
