Our brilliant representatives from the Faculty of Law and the Department of Accounting completely dominated the South-East regional rounds, delivering phenomenal performances that have landed GOUNI on the national stage.

In an incredible display of academic brilliance, GOUNI Law bagged the overall 2nd position in the entire South-East region, officially qualifying Godfrey Okoye University for the prestigious National Finals!

Our students also put on a masterclass in the individual Subject Expert categories, securing national final slots across the board:

Company Income Taxation: Egbogu Favour Ogechukwu (Law) put up an unmatched performance to bag the coveted 1st position in the South-East region!

Personal Income Taxation: Miracle Chimdindu Nwakanze (Law) fought fiercely to secure the 2nd Position in the region.

Value Added Taxation & Stamp Duties: Alexander Egwu (Law) and Nwachukwu Chidiogo Modesta (Accounting) proved their mettle by clinching 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

Petroleum Operations Income Taxation: Stephanie Ezeugwu (Law) delivered a stellar performance to walk away with the 2nd position.

Excise, Export & Import Duties: Okoye Onyinyechi (Accounting) stood tall against tough competition to bag the 3rd Position.

Because of their incredible dedication, these outstanding ambassadors have officially made the list of elite national finalists who will be representing the South-East alongside top institutions like UNN and UNIZIK to clash with the best from the other regions at the grand finale.
