APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS AT GODFREY OKOYE UNIVERSITY, ENUGU.
A. REGISTRAR: The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University. The Registrar’s expertise and quality leadership are critical in promoting the welfare and discipline of a healthy workforce. The Registrar serves as the Secretary to the Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation
B. Director of Medical Services
C. Director of Legal Services
D. Director of Works, Maintenance Services, and Physical Planning
E. Director of Sports
F. Director of Internal Audit
G. Director of Procurement
H. Public Relations Officer
I. Librarians and Graduate Assistant in Library and Information Science
Qualification and Experience
Candidate for all the positions must possess a good honours degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in related disciplines obtained from a recognized University.
Possession of a higher degree will be an advantage.
Membership of recognized professional bodies is mandatory.
Must have had at least fifteen (15) years’ experience in university administration, three (3) of which must be as a Deputy Registrar/Deputy Director at the time of application.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills by inspiring and motivating young administrative officers to achieve their full potential.
Be a person of high integrity who values merit.
Must be mentally and physically fit
The candidates for the positions must not be more than sixty (60) years of age, exhibit commitment and creativity as well as possess computer literacy and proficiency.
The Librarians must have Master’s Degrees in Library and Information Sciences, while the candidate for Assistant Librarian must possess either the BLD/BLIS or B.A/B.Sc or LLB degree.
The professional Librarians should be young and ICT compliant.

Conditions of Service
Appointment for (A) will be for a period of five years (5) subject to further extension by the Council while the others will be for 3 years subject to further extension by the management.
The conditions of service would be as applicable in Godfrey Okoye University and as determined from time to time by the University Governing Council.
