GOU Debate Team has qualified for the prestigious "Debate Cool It" competition, sponsored by the Enugu State Government!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Godfrey Okoye University Debate Team has qualified for the prestigious “Debate Cool It” competition, sponsored by the Enugu State Government!

Of the 20 teams that made it to the finals, 2 are from our very own GoUni—Team Emerald and Team Storm. Both teams qualified with the highest points of 70% each, making us incredibly proud!

The competition will run from August to October and will be televised on Afia TV, so be sure to tune in and support our teams.

The stakes are high with a prize pool of N15,000,000 for the winning team, N5,000,000 for second place, and N2,000,000 for third place.
