GOU Management Pays Christmas Visits to Bishops!

The Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, alongside the management and student executives of GOU and its group of institutions, paid a heartwarming Christmas visit to the Most Rev. Dr. Callistus Onaga, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu and Proprietor of the university, as well as the Emeritus Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Gbuji.

During the visit, Bishop Onaga commended Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke for his selfless and progressive leadership, noting that he has worked tirelessly to synergize the contributions of staff and students toward the success of the university. He highlighted that the institution’s graduates have consistently demonstrated readiness to use their knowledge for the benefit of society.

Bishop Onaga reminded all of the importance of Christmas as a time to share love, understanding, and the true message of the season.

Emeritus Bishop Gbuji, the visionary behind the establishment of the university, praised Godfrey Okoye University for its excellence and consistent achievements. He urged the management to sustain the great strides they’ve made.

Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke expressed his gratitude to both Bishops for their unwavering support and guidance, pledging that the university’s staff will remain committed to fulfilling its mission and vision.

The visit was graced by principal officers, representatives of the institution’s College of Medicine, GOU Secondary School, and Crèche, Nursery, and Primary Schools, along with student representatives who shared their thoughts on the positive impact of the university.
