GOUNI PARTNERS WITH PONTIFICAL LATERAN UNIVERSITY ROME
Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu and Pontifical Lateran University, Rome, have signed a partnership agreement to promote teaching and learning in the two institutions.
Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke announced this today while briefing GOUNI Radio crew on the agreement.
Professor Anieke who signed the column for Godfrey Okoye University during the event, explained that the partnership was one of the outcome of the visit of the Rector of Pontifical Lateran University Rome Archbishop Professor Enrico Dal Covolo.
Professor Anieke said the partnership include exchange of scholars, students, teaching material and research.
Anieke expressed the belief that the agreement would open windows of opportunities for members of staff and students of the two universities.
The Vice Chancellor advised those seeking university education to join Godfrey Okoye University and benefit from the partnership and other programmes of the school and its partner national as well as foreign universities.
The Rector of Pontifical Lateran University, Archbishop Professor Enrico Dal Covolo during his visit to Catholic Diocese of Enugu and Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu promised that Lateran University would collaborate with Godfrey Okoye University to promote education in Nigeria.
