GOUNI VC Prof. Anieke Congratulates Dr. Peter Mbah

The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke has congratulated a member of the Governing Council of the university, Dr. Peter Mbah for emerging victorious in the last Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Enugu State.

Dr. Mbah who became a member of the governing council of the university two years ago beat over ten other contestants to become the Governor elect of Enugu State.

Reacting to the victory, Reverend Father Professor Anieke described Dr. Mbah as God-fearing, smart, connected, and has goodwill as well as ready to develop Enugu State.

The Vice chancellor noted that the Governor Elect has a manifesto that is clear and measurable.

Reverend Father Professor  Anieke advised the Enugu State Governor-elect to work for the entire people of the state including those that supported and those that did not support him, stressing that Dr. Mbah should see himself as the Governor of Enugu state and not a particular group of people.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Dr. Peter Mbah was declared winner of the governorship election in Enugu State.
