GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF GOUNI EUROPEAN PARK

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu European Business Park being established at the Ugwuomu campus of the university will take place on the 18the of November this year.
Already access roads, internet facilities, water supply have been provided while work is going on in the provision of electricity in the park.
Correspondent Godwin Umeh reports that the Vice Chancellor of the university, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke led Principal Officers of the institution to inspect the progress of work in the campus.
Reverend Father Professor Anieke noted with appreciation that the building of the Faculty of Architecture has gone beyond foundation level while interior work and provision of the needed equipment in the male and female hostels are almost complete.
The Vice Chancellor announced that chapels would be built in the campus while other facilities needed for teaching and learning would be provided.
In a reaction, the Project Manager of the European Business Park, Mr. Andreas Gebauer commended the Vice Chancellor and the management team for their ingenuity and commitment to duty.

Responding on behalf of the Principal Officers, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the university, Sister Professor MarySylvia Nwachukwu expressed gratitude to God for giving the institution the right people to execute its projects.
Conducting the officers round the DNA Learning Center, the Coordinator, Mr. Mike Okoro said that the center hosts undergraduates, postgraduates of the university as well as science secondary school students in Enugu State.
Areas inspected include the business park, students’ hostels, faculty building, DNA learning center and the university auditorium.
