ABOUT ICOGANT 2018 CONFERENCE

The faculty of Natural and Applied Science (FNAS) of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu Nigeria is organizing her first International Conference on Global Warming, Climate Change Mitigation and Nuclear Threats (ICOGANT 2018). The Conference will bring together works from professionals and researchers across Nigeria and beyond in a platform that will allow participants to share their experiences and research findings on all aspects of climate change, with a view to promoting social, economic and industrial emancipation of Nigeria and the world at large.

It is therefore our pleasure to invite you to this first conference (ICOGANT 2018) from February 2016 to March 1, 2018 at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu Nigeria.

The theme of the conference is “CLIMATE CHANGE AND MITIGATION IN NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”.

Highly knowledgeable researchers and stakeholders from all over the world are invited to explore the conference theme and sub-themes. The Conference will have two days of technical sessions and poster presentation on the following sub-themes:

CALL FOR PAPERS

Papers are hereby invited from perspective participants at the conference, based on the theme and sub-themes.

Participants are requested to submit abstracts of papers for oral or poster presentation within the listed sub-themes on or before Monday, 12 February 2018 at the email address: irecongou2016@gmail.com. The Abstract should be submitted with the scanned teller of the abstract processing fee of N1, 000.00. Full papers will be submitted after the presentations.

Instructions to Authors

Abstracts should not be more than 200 words and not more than 6 key words. The pages should contain the title, author’s name (Surname, middle and last), affiliation, email address, contact of author of correspondence, abstract and key words. The full papers should include: Abstract page, introduction, materials and methods, results, description, conclusion, acknowledgements and references.

Referencing should be done using the APA referencing style. All abstracts and papers should be submitted as MS Word document type with Times New Roman 12, double spacing. Accepted papers will be published in the first edition of the Faculty Journal with a publication fee.

Aims and Objectives:

This first conference aims to bring together professionals that are interested in research developmental application of climate change mitigation that will ultimately promote the social, economic and industrial emancipation of the nation.

Who to Attend:

The conference is open to all Nigerians and international individuals and firms without bias in other aspects of global warming. This includes physicists, geologists, environmentalists, specialists in related fields, research institutes, corporate and government bodies, etc.
