Just when you thought the 25th Priestly Anniversary of our Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke had come to an end, the people of Mitterkirchen, Austria proved otherwise!

On September 7, the entire town gathered in joy to celebrate their priest, honorary citizen, and dear friend. With music, dancing, and heartfelt speeches, they showed just how much he means to them.

The Mayor personally welcomed and congratulated him, while the community presented him with an anniversary cake. In return, our VC thanked them warmly, visibly moved by their love and support.

The celebration once again highlights his unique role as a global citizen, a leader deeply rooted in his culture, yet embraced by communities far beyond his homeland.
