25 Years of Impact: A Jubilee to Remember!

The Silver Jubilee celebration of Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, was a beautiful blend of faith, gratitude, and legacy.

At the Thanksgiving Mass held at the university chaplaincy, the Archbishop of Abuja and Chancellor of the university, Most Rev. Dr. Ignatius Kaigama, praised the Vice Chancellor as a visionary leader building bridges across cultures and shaping the future through education.

Governor Peter Mbah also paid glowing tribute, describing the celebration as a moment that honoured selfless service, strong values, and lasting educational legacies.

In his remarks, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke thanked the bishops, the governor, friends of the university, and all who supported the journey so far. He called for more partnerships to help take the university even higher.

A major highlight was the gift of a Hilux vehicle by Mr. Nnamdi Ozor, CEO of Tribu Hotel Enugu.

Guests also joined in cutting both the Jubilee cake and a birthday cake for Professor Julius Okojie, whose birthday fell on the same day.

Truly, it was a day of joy, unity, and honouring a life of purpose.
