Marriage is a Journey of Love, Learning, and Grace!

Marriage in the Catholic Church is more than a union of two hearts, it is a sacred sacrament that unites a man, a woman, and Christ. Reverend Father Callistus Ani delivered this powerful message during the wedding Holy Mass of Mr. Kingsley and Mrs. Helen Ogbodo, held at Omnium Sanctorium Chaplaincy, Thinker’s Corner, Enugu.

Fr. Callistus emphasized that the fidelity shared by the couple reflects Christ’s unwavering love for the Church, making their union a true sacrament. He described marriage as a lifelong school where couples must remain humble and willing to learn. He cautioned against selfishness and encouraged the newlyweds to see beyond each other’s flaws and grow in love and admiration.

The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, also graced the occasion, describing the wedding Holy Mass as the beginning of a new life and eternal love, a union that invites divine blessings.

Kingsley and Helen Ogbodo expressed deep gratitude to God and appreciated all who supported them on their special day.

The ceremony was witnessed by principal officers of Godfrey Okoye University, members of the College of Medicine, and former and current GOUNI Radio Station Managers, Mrs. Virginia Ani and Rev. Fr. Benjamin Achi.
