Bishop Onaga Inaugurates Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy Jubilee Centre
It was a moment of deep gratitude and celebration as the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Most Rev. Dr. Callistus Onaga commissioned the Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy Jubilee Centre at Thinkers Corner, Enugu.
The new centre, dedicated to Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, marks a significant milestone in honour of his 25 years of priestly service. During the inauguration, Bishop Onaga praised Father Anieke, the Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University and Rector of the Chaplaincy, for his unwavering commitment to God and humanity.
In his words, the Bishop encouraged members of the Chaplaincy to go beyond celebration, urging them to reflect Father Anieke’s values in their daily lives and not reduce the Jubilee to mere festivities.
In response, Father Anieke expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the Bishop’s consistent support, describing the new Jubilee Centre as a divine gift and a testament to the collective dedication of the faithful.
Speaking on behalf of the Chaplaincy, Sir Peter Okeh, former Vice Chairman of the Chaplaincy Council, expressed his gratitude to the Bishop for assigning a priest whose humility and vision have transformed the Chaplaincy into a true spiritual hub.
Indeed, the inauguration was more than a building opening. It was a celebration of purpose, legacy, and unwavering faith.
