
Godfrey Okoye University at the 2025 JAMB Policy Meeting!
Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, was well represented at the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Policy Meeting on Admissions, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The university joined other stakeholders from across the country to deliberate on key decisions that will shape the next academic session. JAMB officially announced 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025/2026 session. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, also reaffirmed the age benchmark of 16 years as the minimum and non-negotiable requirement for admission into tertiary institutions, highlighting the importance of aligning academic readiness with cognitive maturity.
