GODFREY OKOYE UNIVERSITY MAIN CAMPUS STUDENTS' UNITY WEEK CELEBRATION!

In a beautiful display of cultural, religious, and epistemological dialogue, students of the College of Medicine and School of Nursing at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu are celebrating their Students’ Unity Week at the university’s main campus in Ugwuomu Nike.

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, while addressing the students, emphasized the importance the university places on promoting unity through dialogue. He highlighted that students and staff are cultural beings shaped by their dress, behaviour, and language and called on everyone to understand and respect other cultures in the spirit of peaceful coexistence.

The highlight of the week was the Cultural Day, which saw the vibrant display of ethnic attires, traditional dances, local languages, and diverse cuisines, celebrating the rich heritage within the university community.

Principal officers of the university were also in attendance to support and celebrate this remarkable event.
