IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM GOUNI

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, has officially announced that students from 100 to 400 level in the Faculty of Law and 100 to 300 level in other faculties have concluded their 2024/2025 academic session.

All continuing students are expected to return to campus on October 2, 2025, for the start of the new academic year.

Degree examinations will be held from July 21 to August 8, 2025. The General Ability Test is scheduled for July 31, 2025. A Thanksgiving Mass for final-year students will be held on August 3, 2025, while final-year students are expected to vacate campus by August 9, 2025.

Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke also reminded the university community and well-wishers about the 25th Priestly Anniversary of his ordination, coming up on July 27, 2025, at the Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy, Thinkers Corner campus.

Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Skills Acquisition Month (SAM) entrepreneurship programme. The registration will close on July 31, 2025, and is open to all students from 100 level to their penultimate year. This initiative aims to equip students with hands-on entrepreneurial skills for self-employment after graduation.

Additionally, the Directorate of Entrepreneurship (DoE) will host the STEP-S Train-the-Trainer Workshop from July 14 to 18, 2025, at the Peter Mbah Law Auditorium and DoE building, Thinkers Corner. This workshop is designed to prepare faculty for the implementation of the STEP-S programme with undergraduates starting October 2025.
