Listen to the Spirit of God Before You Act – Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke
During the Holy Mass for the Solemnity of the Annunciation of Our Lord, the Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, urged Christians to listen to the Spirit of God before taking any action.
Speaking at the Thinkers Corner campus, he emphasized the importance of consistent prayer in overcoming the forces of evil. He reminded the faithful that Jesus Christ is the complete revelation of God and the fulfillment of humanity’s salvation.
In his sermon, Fr. Anieke also encouraged Christians to say “Yes” to being used as a tool for God, just as the Blessed Virgin Mary did when she accepted the divine call.
The priest condemned idol worship, kidnapping, and other societal ills, urging Christians to be security-conscious in today’s world. He also admonished students to remain focused and disciplined in their pursuits.
The Holy Mass was attended by principal officers, deans, professors, heads of departments, directors, staff, and students, all gathered in reverence for this sacred occasion.
A call to deeper faith and obedience.May we all have the courage to say “Yes” to God’s will!
