I humbly welcome you to Godfrey Okoye University Directorate of University Research, Publications and Rankings. The Directorate was established in March, 2022 and it seeks to employ harmonization of university research and publications in realizing the aims and aspirations of the University.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Directorate for University research, publications and ranking was created to help organize, coordinate and direct research activities and publications to the benefit of the university and the society at large. It gives guidance to researchers so that their creative outputs will be relevant to societal needs. Researches that are society-driven usually impact positively on university ranking.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

MISSION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To harmonize researches and publications in Godfrey Okoye University in such a way as to maintain an all-time enviable ranking status.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To be among the leading universities in terms of research and publications.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

PUBLICATIONS AND JOURNALS IN GODFREY OKOYE UNIVERSITY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Faculty of Management and Social Sciences<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The FMSS commenced publication in 2013 and has maintained relevance till date. It has continued to produce journals in line with its mandate. The last edition of the faculty journal is Vol 9, No. 1 of 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Within the faculty, there has been a production of departmental journal by the department of Mass Communication: International Journal of Communication & Social Sciences Vol 1 No. 2, 2021.\u00a0 <\/strong>It was published by the Dean of Graduate School, Bowie State University, Bowie, MD, USA in collaboration with The Department of Mass Communication, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Nigeria.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Faculty of Natural Science and Environmental Studies<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The FNSES began publication in 2019 with Nigerian Journal of Natural and Applied Sciences, Vol. 1 No. 1, 2019.<\/strong> This journal was its first and only journal till date. The mentioned journal was published by the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Nigeria. Currently, the faculty has no departmental journal.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Faculty of Education<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The FOE started its publication in 2015 and has preserved its significance till 2017. via<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

International Journal of education (IJOE) Vol.1 No.1 2017 and Vol.2 No. 2 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One of the departments produced Department of Science and Vocational Education <\/strong>produced Journal of research in Science and Vocational Education (TRSVE) Vol.1 No. 1, 2019 <\/strong>and stopped.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Faculty of Law<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Law faculty had its first published journal in 2018. It has maintained relevance and consistency in producing journals up till 2020. The journal is known as Godfrey Okoye University Law Journal. Journal of Contemporary Legal and Allied Issues Vol. 1 No. 1, 2018.<\/strong> The faculty\u2019s last edition was in 2020; Vol. 1 No. 1, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Faculty of Arts<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The faculty of Arts started its publication in 2019. The journal is known as Thinkers Journal; A publication of the Faculty of Arts, Godfrey Okoye University Vol. 4 No.1 2021. \u00a0<\/strong>Its last edition was in 2021. There is no department journal.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
