Congratulations to our brilliant Godfrey Okoye University Enugu students for their outstanding performances during the Students Week Quiz and Debate Competitions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are happy to announce the winners of the quiz and debate competitions organized for students across various faculties. The results are in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiz Competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Arts clinched the first position and won N100,000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

College of Medicine secured second place with a prize of N70,000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Management and Social Sciences took the third position, earning N50,000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debate Competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topic was “Decolonizing the Curriculum: Should Nigerian Universities Revise Their Curriculum to include more Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, challenging the dominance of Western-centric education?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Law emerged victorious, winning N100,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Natural Sciences and Environmental Studies came in second and got N70,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Arts took the third prize!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Recognitions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Speaker: Ozor Chisom, a 100-level medical student, awarded an instant cash prize of N100,000 by Okwulora!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Quiz Competitor: Obialor Agape, a 100-level student from the Faculty of Law, also received N100,000 from Okwulora!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, presented the prizes and commended all participants for their remarkable performances. He also celebrated Okoh Emmanuel (Okwulora) with a special award for his immense support to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks, Professor Gozie Ogbodo, Dean of the Faculty of Law, expressed his appreciation for the students’ exemplary conduct during the competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to all our winners and participants for their hard work and dedication! Let’s continue to achieve greatness together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
