Congratulations to Nkenna Mary Azubuike, a 300-level psychology student at Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, for winning one million Naira! She scored the highest points in the quiz competition to mark this year\u2019s Unity Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed alumnus, Emmanuel Okoh (Okwulora), for his generous award in recognition of her brilliance and the outstanding efforts of our Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, in promoting education and youth empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Okoh also highlighted the importance of strong relationships between academic staff and students, encouraging educators to maintain these bonds for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also celebrate other award recipients from the Students Council of Honours, including the Dean of Students Affairs, Rev. Fr. Casmir Nwokolo, Sister Veronica Nkechinyere Chime, Friday Okemini, and various student affairs officers and security personnel for their dedicated services.\u00a0 Outstanding students were also recognized for their achievements in different areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the Faculty of Education for winning the Bursar’s Trophy in the football competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Anieke, also received an award for GoUni from the Nigerian Youth Debate Championship as Nigeria’s most promising debate institution. The organizers praised his leadership and the debate coaches for fostering intellectual competition among students. It was a memorable event attended by principal officers, deans, heads of departments, and friends of the university. Here\u2019s to many more achievements and continued success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
