We are proud to announce the winners of our first-ever software coding competition, organised by the Directorate of Competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our talented Computer Science students showcased their innovative skills and emerged victorious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ogbe Somtochukwu\u2013 Overall Best Winner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Developed: Facial Recognition Attendance System<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Prizes: Cash award, three months of Internet data, and incubation by our Incubation Centre!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obiano Chukwuemeka Israel\u2013 Second Place<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Developed: Blood Bank System<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Prize: Cash award<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arinze Mary Rose\u2013 Third Place<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Developed: Smart Farming Irrigation System<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Prize: Cash award<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to all the winners and participants!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition involved two rigorous parts: a pitch on the developed apps and their deployment. About 10 students from the Computer Science department qualified for this challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his inspiring address, our special guest of honour, Vice-Chancellor Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, praised the competition as a commendable innovation for a sustainable future. He emphasized the importance of competition in retaining one’s identity and making a lasting impact. He appreciated Mrs. Uchanta Chukwu, our Director of Competitions, for her exceptional organization of this and other competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
