SEVEN EMINENT NIGERIANS INDUCTED INTO GOUNI HALL OF FAME<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the 12th Convocation Ceremony of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, seven distinguished individuals have been honoured with induction into the prestigious GOUNI Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inductees include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Frank Akpuaka \u2013 Pioneer Provost, GOUNI College of Medicine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engineer Gerald Otiji \u2013 Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Enugu State<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emeritus Prof. Edwin Nwogugu \u2013 Renowned Professor of Law<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Captain Everest Nnaji \u2013 Flight Captain and Aviation Model<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ifeanyichukwu Obiakor \u2013 Businessman and Philanthropist<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary Nkenna Azubuike \u2013 Current Student Vice-Chancellor for One Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ebere Onyinyechi Jibulu \u2013 2023\/2024 Best Graduating Student<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke celebrated the invaluable contributions of the inductees to the university’s growth. He highlighted Prof. Akpuaka\u2019s exceptional leadership in the College of Medicine and Engineer Otiji\u2019s infrastructural advancements in Enugu State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering the Convocation Lecture, Captain Everest Nnaji inspired graduates to embrace education as a catalyst for societal change, urging them to channel their passions into solving global challenges and leveraging modern technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Christian Nwachukwu Okeke commended Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke\u2019s dedication to upholding the university\u2019s mission, while the former Executive Secretary of the NUC, Rasheed Abubakar, lauded GOUNI\u2019s steady growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
