Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, committed to producing well-rounded graduates, organized a cooking competition for 200-level students of the College of Medicine at the Ugwuomu main campus.<\/p>\n

Miss Jennifer Oluchukwu Agutusi emerged as the winner, receiving \u20a650,000, courtesy of the Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke.<\/p>\n

Other participants who performed excellently in the competition\u2014Coraldine Nneoma Nwibo, Justina Nkechinyere Anunaso, Glory Chidera Mechie, Emmanuella Chizoba Chinyeaka, and Precious Odinaka Ogbonna\u2014were also rewarded with \u20a620,000 each for their efforts.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke highlighted that the competition was part of the university\u2019s efforts to recognize and support students’ talents while encouraging a spirit of healthy competition.<\/p>\n

The participants expressed their passion for cooking and appreciation to the university management for providing a platform to showcase their skills.<\/p>\n

The event also featured a boat ride and a football match between the 200-level medical students and the students of the School of Nursing.<\/p>\n
