NIMSA South-East Award Recipients Pay Courtesy Visit to the Vice-Chancellor

Award-winning delegates from the College of Medicine, Godfrey Okoye University, who distinguished themselves at the recently concluded NiMSA South East Convention, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor. They were joined by the South East Regional Coordinator of the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA) and the former Face of NiMSA South East.

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, warmly received the team, commending their exceptional performance and the prestige they continue to bring to the University. A key highlight of the visit was the formal handover of the Face of NiMSA South-East title from the outgoing holder, Precious Faith of Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (Parklane), to the newly crowned recipient, Aguigwo Gerald Somtochukwu of Godfrey Okoye University.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the awardees for their remarkable achievements and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the South-East Regional leadership of NiMSA in advancing initiatives that empower medical students to excel across the region.
