Dr. Dele Maxwell Ugwanyi is an Associate Professor of English and Literary Studies at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu. A prolific scholar and literary critic, he is widely recognized for his contributions to African literature, literary theory, gender studies, postcolonial studies, and environmental humanities.
His scholarship explores the intersections of literature, culture, politics, and society, offering critical insights into themes of postcolonial resistance, migration, disillusionment, feminism, ecological discourse, and the documentation of African experiences. With numerous publications in reputable journals and edited volumes, Dr. Ugwanyi has shaped critical debates around the works of major African writers including Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Chinua Achebe, Amma Darko, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
