Dr. Justus C. Ugwu is a scholar of English Language and Literary Studies whose work bridges pragmatics, discourse analysis, stylistics, and applied linguistics. He serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, where he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and mentorship.

He has presented widely at national and international conferences, with papers covering areas such as hate speech frames, multimodal discourse analysis, euphemization strategies, and pragma-stylistic approaches to political and social discourse. His book New Approach to the Use of English (2014) and numerous scholarly articles reflect his strong engagement with language use, communication, and social realities.
