My name is Felicitas Chinecherem Ene. I am a proud graduate of Godfrey Okoye University. Back in school we had a slogan that says “Where is the Evidence”. This slogan has been a motivation to work hard and it has indeed contributed to the persistent spirit I have today. Here is my little success story.
I started my bachelor’s degree in 2013 in Faculty of Natural Sciences and environmental Studies, Godfrey Okoye University and graduated as the best student in the faculty with a first-class honor in industrial chemistry in 2017. After graduation I was deployed to work at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), where I worked at the School of Post Graduate Studies for my 1-year compulsory service to Nigeria. I worked as an administrative staff and gained useful administrative work experiences. After the Nation Youth Service Corps (NYSC) I was called back to work as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Chemical Sciences Godfrey Okoye University. I assisted in both academic and administrative activities.
After gathering some work experiences, I embarked on a path to my master’s degree. I am a beneficiary of the renowned fully funded ASEAN and NON-ASEAN scholarship 2023. I am currently in my last semester of 4 semesters in Chulalongkorn University Thailand pursing my master’s degree in Organic chemistry. I have gained invaluable experiences as a student and researcher as well, which will propel me to further my academic journey in future.
I believe my success journey has just started and the discipline, hard work and dedication I learnt from Godfrey Okoye University has motivated me to be relentless in pursuing my dreams. I have plans to continue my PhD after my masters and I believe my hard work will pay in the end.
