Thanksgiving Holy Mass To Celebrate Graduates of Godfrey Okoye University
The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, delivered a heartfelt sermon during the Thanksgiving Holy Mass organized for our final-year students. The event occurred at Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy, Thinkers Corner Enugu campus of the university.
Reverend Father Professor Anieke advised our graduates to use their talents to glorify God and avoid idol worship. He encouraged everyone to speak out against societal evils despite our numerous challenges.
In his message, he urged Nigerians to avoid lobbying for positions and the excessive quest for material wealth. Instead, he recommended praying for God’s guidance and protection as long as He wills.
As our outgoing students step into the world, they are encouraged to be agents of reconciliation and unity, fostering dialogue and standing against societal evils.
The Thanksgiving Holy Mass and party were graced by the presence of the principal officers of the university.
