This is to inform the university community that the university senate has approved an online learning platform for the university. All lecturers are required to submit their lecture content using the following format:
1. | Course code and course title |
2. | Name of lecturer |
3. | Program and faculty |
4. | Course introduction |
5. | Lessons – with corresponding topics (SAMPLE: Click Here To See Sample) |
6. | Assignments and quiz – can be added at the end of a course, lesson or topic |
7. | Course content should be emailed to – onlinelearning@gouni.edu.ng, in Microsoft word format. The course will be arranged and made available online for your students. A link will be sent to you, the link should be shared with your students. |
Lecture content can have – videos, audio, text, diagrams, images and website links.
Lecturers are encouraged to make their courses interactive and engaging by integrating videos, audio, diagrams, images, and website links where possible.
Each course has an interactive forum where the lecturer and students can interact.
When lecturers submit their course content, an email will be sent containing your login details to the online learning platform and instructions on how to use the platform. Due to the global outbreak of COVID- 19 organizing a workshop will not be possible at this time.
