Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye announces an extra 1 million Naira prize for secondary school alumni who emerge as VC for One Day at GOUNI.

The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke has encouraged graduating students of Godfrey Okoye University Secondary School to embrace hard work and good character as essential virtues for success in life.
Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke gave the advice when some of the graduating students paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Thinkers Corner, Enugu.

Emphasizing that good character and dedication are indispensable for achieving greatness, the Vice Chancellor urged the students to continue their academic journey at Godfrey Okoye University, where they would build upon the solid foundation already laid for them.

In a major incentive to spur academic excellence, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke announced that any alumnus or alumna of the secondary school who enrols at the university and emerges as the Vice Chancellor for One Day will receive an additional 1 million Naira as prize money. This reward comes in addition to existing package benefits, which include a full scholarship, an official visit to the Enugu State Governor, the opportunity to function as Vice Chancellor for a day, presiding over the University Senate, and other exclusive privileges.

Responding on behalf of their peers, some of the graduating students expressed deep gratitude for the outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication of the Vice Chancellor. They noted that his commitment has continuously distinguished the Godfrey Okoye University group of institutions among its peers and promised to pursue their higher education at the university.
