GOUNI Debaters Break into Quarterfinals of the West African University Debate Championship

Two outstanding debaters from Godfrey Okoye University, Amarachi Judith Ojiako and Egbogu Favour Ogechukwu, have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the West African University Debate Championship (WAUDC).

Representing the Godfrey Okoye University Intercollegiate Debate Council (GOUNIDC), both students demonstrated exceptional skill, eloquence, and critical thinking to secure their places among the top competitors. They were ranked 7th and 8th best speakers out of 32 breaking speakers drawn from universities across West Africa.

The Quarterfinal rounds and the remainder of the championship will take place this weekend, as the GOUNI community rallies behind them in pursuit of victory.
