The air at Godfrey Okoye University feels different today. There is a specific kind of energy that only happens when the brightest young minds in the country occupy the same space.
We are officially mid-stride in hosting the All Nigerian Youth Debate Championship (ANYDC 2026). Seeing teams arrive from every corner of Nigeria, from various tertiary institutions, has turned the campus into a melting pot of ideas and sharp intellect.
This isn’t just another event for us. It represents a significant milestone as the first-ever National Debate Competition hosted by our Directorate of Competitions, in collaboration with the conveners at Debaterverse.
The intensity has been building in every room, but it all leads to this moment. The final arguments have been made, and the award ceremony is set for today, March 30th.
