Strengthening Partnerships for Student Success: Parents’ Forum Executives Hold Inaugural Meeting with the Vice-Chancellor at Godfrey Okoye University

The newly constituted Executive Members of the Parents’ Forum, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, held their inaugural meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, on Friday, 6th February 2026.

The Vice-Chancellor warmly received the executives and outlined key priority areas, stressing the need for stronger collaboration between the University and parents. He highlighted meaningful ways parents can contribute to student development, particularly through mentorship, internship opportunities, and structured platforms for sharing professional knowledge and experience.

His Lordship, Chief Magistrate Onyia Ifeoma (Secretary),

Dr. Jude Madukwe (Financial Secretary),

Mrs. Chizaram Ulelu (Public Relations Officer), and

Lady Jane Kalu Ndukwe (Director, Student Mentorship and Parent Relations).

In his response, the Chairman reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and University Management to advance the shared vision of building an even stronger, values-driven, and progressive Godfrey Okoye University.

The meeting marked an important step towards deepening parent–university partnership in support of student growth and institutional excellence.
